| An
inauspicious beginning to a successful acting career
Chris was one of those gorgeous kids –
blond and blue-eyed, with eyelashes that females would
kill for – so his mother decided to submit his
photo for a Sun-Maid Raisin commercial when he was five
years old. He was invited to the shoot and has had the
acting bug ever since.
At age nine he was featured as “boy
in van” in a TV commercial for an automotive safety
product. It was a tricky shoot that took all day, and
Chris showed remarkable patience and professionalism
for his age.
At age 18 Chris entered the U.S. Marine
Corps and was deployed to Saudi Arabia during Desert
Shield/Desert Storm. His initial enthusiasm to make
the military his career evaporated quickly, and he entered
college after the Service. Although he liked his drama
studies, he focused on an engineering degree which he
obtained in Aviation Operations. It was during his college
days that his comedic talents blossomed. He often had
his buddies in stitches, doing devastating impressions
of celebrities or fellow students. At that time he did
not follow his instincts, but ended up working as an
IT “techie” for quite a few years. He kept
his balance by blowing off energy with a couple of daredevil
hobbies: dirt biking and skydiving.
His personal interactions continued to
be hilarious comedy shows until someone suggested “You
should do this for a living!” He was at home in
Las Vegas at the time, and he realized that he had allowed
fear to keep him from his real calling. On the spur
of the moment he decided to pursue an acting career
in earnest. Not surprisingly, he was kept quite busy
doing commercials for several casinos, being host for
a casino resort in-house video, doing radio commercials,
little theater, and numerous indie horror shorts. Encouraged
by his success, he moved to Los Angeles in February
2008. He has been kept equally busy and already had
two national commercials under his belt by May 2008.

In addition to his comedic talents Chris
has been complimented by directors for his co-operative
style, his ability to quickly internalize his lines,
follow directions precisely, and projecting his voice
with confidence. Chris is equally at home in comedy,
action or drama.
